Method of Payment

Reservation Deposit and Payments: A $375.00 pp deposit and completed Tour Reservation Form are required for all tours. Deposit must be made in advance of the tour to PayPal. A written confirmation of your reservation will be sent once the deposit and signed form are received. The balance may be paid in cash by PayPal (crbooks@gmail.com) or at the beginning of the tour.

Cancellation Policy:

Deposits are fully refundable if cancellations are made, in writing, within 60 days of the first tour day. There are no refunds or credits for cancellations made after 60 days. To cancel your reservation, contact us

If your tour is less than 30 days away and you become ill, have a family emergency or travel restrictions are put in place that prevents you from entering Costa Rica, you will not be eligible for a refund. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to reimburse you for non-refundable travel expenses in these scenarios.

To protect your non-refundable travel expenses, we also strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

One tour date change is allowed if you request a change at least 30 days before your tour date. When making a date change we will apply your existing deposit to your new tour date.

No refunds will be made if you do not show up for your tour or interrupt or cancel your tour for any reason once it has begun.

  • A refund will be issued by PayPal only and will be subject to an additional 5% administration fee.

Not Included: International airfare, alcoholic beverages, hotel room upgrades, extras in hotels (laundry, telephone calls, room service), and a couple of dinners. Regarding the latter, we want you to explore the restaurants in San José on your own in order to get an idea of the variety of different cuisines that are available here. Your guide will give you a list of restaurants you may want to try.
